I'm very happy to report that I safely arrived in Hong Kong last night around 8:00 PM local time (8:00 AM for all of you Floridians and other east coast residents). Suffice it to say that after 16 hours on the plane, I was thrilled to put my feet on some solid ground. By the time we made it to the campus, it was about 10:00 and we were exhausted. I managed to sleep pretty well, and so far there hasn't been a trace of jet lag (mom, you were right- that melatonin really helped).



I've more or less settled into my room, though I'm still without internet access or a phone- hopefully those issues will be resolved today. The other Stetson students and I will be venturing into the city this afternoon to pick up some essentials (bedding, towels, phones, etc.) and we might check out Victoria Harbor tonight.



Sorry this post is so short, we're about to leave to go shopping. I'll update more when I get a chance. In the meantime, if any of you feel inclined to send me anything (postcards, letters, love, etc), do so here:
